spildprodukt What a debut! Lush and cinematic from start to finish, giving off very "Silent Hill" vibes on the opener "ShadowCat" and keeps its momentum throughout the duration of the entire EP.

This might be my Danish bias showing but this entire EP would be perfectly fitting for movies like "Midsommer", "Sidste Time", "Nattevagten" and the like. IYKYK.

Debut EP by Skyggekat. Recorded in my livingroom during the dark cold months of December 2023 / January 2024.

Produced by Jens Wejs. It was mixed by Daniel Steffen (ex-RACING APE) in Copenhagen at Li Studio, while mastering was handled by Dave Cooley (DEAFHEAVEN, M83, DIIV) at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles. Artwork by Lasse Høgh Studio.
